The short version
Funaria does not collect, log, or store personal data about the people who use it. Nothing you send to the bot is saved to a database, written to disk, or shared with anyone else. What follows is the longer explanation.
What we don't collect
- We don't keep a record of your messages, commands, or the content you send to the bot.
- We don't build profiles of users or track behavior across servers.
- We don't sell, rent, or share any data with third parties, because we don't hold any to begin with.
- We don't use analytics or tracking scripts on this website.
How the bot processes information
To respond to a command, Funaria has to briefly read the message that triggered it — that's how any Discord bot works. This happens in memory only, for the moment it takes to generate a response, and is discarded immediately afterward. Nothing from that process is written to a file or database.
Information Discord itself provides
Like any bot, Funaria receives standard technical information from Discord's API in order to function — things like user IDs, server IDs, and channel IDs. This is the minimum needed to know where to respond, and it isn't stored beyond the moment it's used. Discord's own Privacy Policy governs how Discord itself handles your data.
Children's privacy
Funaria doesn't knowingly collect information from anyone, and by extension that includes children. Use of Discord itself is subject to Discord's own age requirements.
